Kim Cattrall has taken to social media to call out former Sex and the City costar Sarah Jessica Parker for exploiting the death of her brother.

Cattrall took to Instagram on Saturday, February 10, with a message for her former friend saying her condolences aren't needed.

After its financial success, producers including Parker wanted to continue with a second, but Cattrall remained hesitant, which led to rumours that her "diva" behaviour caused the film's holdup. The accompanying caption to the message-driven image accused Parker of "exploiting" the tragedy as a crass attempt at image rehab.

The 61-year-old's brutally honest Instagram post comes after she announced the sudden death of her brother Christopher Cattrall, 55, .

On a recent appearance on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen", SJP was asked by her longtime friend Cohen about an interview Cattrall gave Piers Morgan in which Cattrall said the two women were never friends - "just colleagues".

She wrote: "My Mom asked me today 'when will that Sarah Jessica Parker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?'"

Brexit 'technical talks' focus on Northern Ireland
Liberal Democrat Brexit spokesman Tom Brake said: "The government need to start being clear what they are fighting for". The 8% figures for " no deal " was said to amount to Scotland's economy being £12.7bn a year worse off.

She continued: "Let me make this VERY clear". You're not my friend.

On top of this, Cattrall linked to a New York Post article from 2017 which, according to its headline, alleges that a "mean-girls culture" destroyed Sex And The City and the chances for a third film. Sarah Jessica Parker has not commented on Cattrall's public request and rebuke at this time.

Parker's publicist did not respond to request for comment last night.

Though Cattrall has emphasized that she would not be part of "Sex and the City 3", is there still a possibility for another sequel? Parker rented a house on location for herself, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon, who play Charlotte and Miranda, respectively - and that Cattrall was left out.

But the feud exploded publicly late past year when plans for a third film fell apart. "Sarah Jessica, she could have been nicer, she could have in some way. I found it really upsetting because that's, you know, that's not the way I recall our experience".
