CBS says work needed on Stormy Daniels interview

Last week, Daniels filed a lawsuit claiming that the agreement is invalid because Trump never signed it. Trump's private attorney, Michael Cohen, insists that he alone knew about the hush-money payment and that he arranged it all without Trump's knowledge, just days before the election.

Regardless of whether Cohen accepts Clifford's offer, the money is the subject of a complaint by the watchdog group Common Cause to the Federal Election Commission.

Munyan, who referred to himself as Daniels "gay dad", also alleged that his friend was also offered a spot on "The Apprentice" while she was having an alleged affair with Trump.

Cohen also clarified that neither Trump Organisation nor Donald Trump reimbursed him for the payment.

A letter from the pornographic actor's lawyer Michael Avenatti to Trump's personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, on Monday offered to pay the $130,000 (£93,000) into an account of the president's choosing by Friday. The group claims it is an illegal campaign contribution because of the size and goal of the payment. The letter from Avenatti says a condition of Clifford's offer is Trump and his attorney will not take legal action to stop the interview from airing.

Jonjo Shelvey returned to Newcastle United's line-up at the flawless time
I think that winning this game will be tough for Newcastle but they must get together and play for this club if they want to win. Southampton will need to defend well and ensure that they can silence the crowd if they wish to get anything out of this game.

'The time will come when Britain regrets Brexit', warns Jean-Claude Juncker
If Britain stays in a form of a customs union it would reduce the costs for both sides by about half, the report said. But he warned that the border between Northern Ireland and the Republic could be a major roadblock to sealing a deal.

Trump reaches out to Clinton impeachment lawyer
Dowd and Sekulow have been part of Trump's personal legal team since last summer. Flood declined to comment Saturday. No final decision has been made.

Under the proposal, Clifford after returning the money would be allowed to speak "openly and freely about her prior relationship with the president and attempts to silence her".

The offer from Avenatti came after White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders told a briefing last week that Trump had won an arbitration proceeding against Clifford. Under the terms of the deal detailed in the letter, the contract ensuring Clifford's silence would be "deemed null and void" once she returned the sum called for in her original contract.

"On information and belief, EC was created by Mr. Cohen with Mr. Trump's knowledge for one objective - to hide the true source of funds to be used to pay Ms. Clifford, thus further insulating Mr. Trump from later discovery and scrutiny". But that's nothing like the big storm slamming the White House.

News President David Rhodes' statement at a conference in Israel Tuesday was the first time CBS publicly confirmed it had interviewed Daniels, who has alleged an extramarital affair with Donald Trump before he became president.

CBS Evening News' Julianna Goldman asked Avenatti if this means there may be photos, texts or videos relating to her alleged relationship with the president.
