The Cavaliers came back from down 17 points to defeat the Wizards, 119-115, Thursday night.

LeBron James is playing in his 15th National Basketball Association season and doing things he had never done before, posting averages of 27.4 points, 8.7 rebounds, 9.1 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.9 blocks on 54% from the floor, 36% from three and 73% from the line. All of that seems like an excellent recipe for a historic win that would give them half-a-game leeway over the Cavs.

James led the way with 33 points on 12-of-20 shooting to go along with 14 assists and nine rebounds in the victory.

In addition to the playoff positioning, the come-from-behind win served as a nice "Welcome Back" to returning coach Tyronn Lue, who returned to the sideline after missing more than two weeks of action because of persistent health issues, including pains that were "very piercing through the chest and around the rib area".

Taurean Prince scored 23 points and Tyler Dorsey added 22 for the Hawks, while the loss left the Wizards in eighth place in the Eastern Conference.

It's worth noting that Cleveland has really turned it on in Lue's absence, losing just one game out of their last 10.

Cleveland led by as many as 15 points in the first half but watched its lead reduce to rubble when Washington picked its effort up on both ends. The spirits in Philadelphia are at an all-time high, the Process has reached its next evolutionary stage, and it seems more likely than not that the Sixers will make noise in the playoffs for the first time since the Allen Iverson era. They are 7-3 this season when he starts.

Markieff Morris had another understated yet productive all-around game Wednesday with 15 points, five rebounds and four assists.

Highlighted by a Jordan Clarkson open-court steal and 360-degree dunk, the Cavs went up 45-30 early in the second quarter, but the Wizards immediately answered with a 10-2 run and trailed just 59-54 at intermission.

"There are certain teams you can't make turnovers against", James said. I just think the past few weeks, we've been playing good ball. James missed the second free throw and Philly secured the rebound on the third free throw to avoid a collapse similar to the one against Golden State earlier in the season. Things only got worse in the third, as Cleveland was outscored 64-43 over the middle quarters yet somehow found a way to win.
