As Netflix prepares to launch the fifth season of "Arrested Development", insiders confirm that Jeffrey Tambor will be back on the show as family patriarch George Bluth, Sr. The actor was recently dropped from Amazon Studios' "Transparent" after he was accused of sexual misconduct; he has repeatedly denied the claims.

Amazon confirmed earlier this year that Tambor had been axed from the show, leaving its future in doubt without its lead.

The confirmation comes several months after the actor was sacked from his Amazon show "Transparent" following an investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct.

Netflix made the decision on December 5 to continue the political drama "House of Cards" into its final season without actor Kevin Spacey, putting Robin Wright in the leading role instead.

Tambor, who won a Golden Globe in 2015 for his portrayal of Maura Pfefferman in Transparent, was officially fired from the Amazon series in February following an investigation into multiple sexual harassment allegations made against the 73-year-old.
