A woman from the USA state of Arizona is thanking Todd, after the dog saved her from a rattlesnake bite.
Paula Godwin posted the story to social media on Friday, saying that Todd, her beloved golden retriever, is a hero.
Instead of Ms Godwin's legs, the venomous fangs sank into his snout.
Photos showed the pup's face was very swollen after the bite.
"My hero of a puppy Todd saved me", she said in her Facebook post. "But my hero of a puppy, Todd, saved me". Unfortunately, Todd copped the bite.

"I literally walked right by him and Todd kind of jolted toward my foot to see what the heck was by my leg", Godwin recalled. Todd proved that he was not only cute but also fearless later in the walk as Godwin almost stepped on a rattlesnake. "This is what a hero looks like".
Paula said of the fundraiser: "Todd wants to help more puppies that may need help".
The 6-month-old golden retriever named Todd was bitten on his face when he tried to save his owner.
She added "Your kindness and support is truly a blessing". "Donations are not towards Todd's bill but for those in need of help in paying unexpected vet bills", the GoFundMe description page reads.
On Sunday, Godwin wrote on Facebook that Todd was doing well and healing.
