Trump defended the practice of hiring foreign workers, telling MSNBC's "Morning Joe" it "is very hard to get people in Florida for seasonal jobs".

The President's infamous golf resort, Mar-a-Lago, recently filed requests to hire 61 foreign workers.

According to the Department of Homeland Security's U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the employer filing for H-2B visas must demonstrate that there are "not enough U.S. workers who are able, willing, qualified, and available" and that the foreign workers "will not adversely affect the wages and working conditions of similarly employed U.S. workers".

It appears President Donald Trump can not find any Americans willing and able to hold jobs at his favorite weekend getaway: Mar-a-Lago Club.

Another was the Salvation Army, which in the past, held charitable events at both The Breakers and Mar-a-Lago. But it is seeking to pay those cooks slightly less than in 2017: the posting says Mar-a-Lago's pay for cooks starts at $13.31 per hour, down 3 cents from the year before.
