Right on the heels of the Apple iPhone XS, Samsung announces an event to unveil its newest Galaxy device that will have four cameras. The company is calling it "A Galaxy Event" which could be a cheeky way of suggesting that a new Galaxy A-series device will be announced, but we cannot be sure just yet. The Galaxy Note 8 was the first smartphone from Samsung to feature the dual-lens rear camera setup and an improved S Pen.

The report also notes that Samsung is indeed testing in-display fingerprint sensors for the Galaxy S10, but the technology won't make it into next year's Samsung flagships.

Samsung will do live streaming of this October 11 event, so those interested can head over to www.samsung.com/galaxy to watch the event live on the said date.

It's not certain whether the four lenses will be squeezed into a single camera module or grouped into two: both dual rear-mounted and front-facing cameras.

Amazon is now discounting the Samsung DeX Pad to just $67.80, which is a pretty good price for this pad, seeing as this is typically priced at $99 and was only announced earlier this year. Dubbed, Samsung Galaxy J2 Core the smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs 6,190. We can't anything confirm about that, what you all have to do is mark your calendars 11th October as the cat will be out of the bag on that day. And Huawei recently launched a triple-camera phone in the P20 Pro and is rumored to be putting three lenses in the upcoming Mate 20 as well. More than likely, this phone will be more of a mid-range handset like the Galaxy A series with a gimmicky feature.
