The network is now developing a stand-alone series for Batwoman and if everything goes without a hitch, we can expect to see Batwoman kicking ass on her own next year.

The 32-year-old actress will make her first appearance as Batwoman in The CW's crossover show "Elseworlds". The new show will compliment the other DC Comics superhero series on the network - a lineup which now includes Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, and Black Lightning.
The annual Arrow-verse crossover will begin production Tuesday in Vancouver, B.C., according to Entertainment Tonight.

"Elseworlds" begins with The Flash on December 9th, followed by Arrow on December 10th and Supergirl on December 11th. Its latest addition is Batwoman, with Ruby Rose (of John Wick: Chapter Two and The Meg fame) suiting up for the role.
