Authorities in the Houston area say a two-year-old boy was abandoned at a stranger's doorstep by a woman who ran from the scene. A doorbell video shows a woman running up to a neighbor's front door, ringing the doorbell multiple times, and running away after leaving the toddler behind.
She's then seen ringing the doorbell and knocking on the door before running to her auto and leaving the child behind.
A resident of the home went to answer the door and found the boy alone on the porch.
Police said: "The suspect is observed running toward the front door of the residence while lifting the child in the air by one arm".
Deputies said the boy appears to be uninjured and in good health.
The woman dropped off the child around 8:40 p.m. after the father left his home; however, the woman took the boy to the wrong house.

The person who lives in the house where the unknown woman took the boy said they didn't know who the adult or child was. The mother said she was in the hospital on Wednesday and had a friend drop the boy off. She could potentially face a child of child endangerment.
"The investigation is ongoing once completed the case will be submitted to the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office for changes".
