The New Orleans Saints are set to host the Washington Redskins at home on ESPN's Monday Night Football.

Drew Brees is the NFL's new record holder for the most career passing yards. Brees, who already holds the single-season record for completion rate at 72 percent last season, finished the game a remarkable 26 of 29 for 363 yards, no interceptions and three touchdowns - two of them going to Smith, a third-round draft choice out of Central Florida has played just five National Football League games and is now immortalized because of his role in Brees' record-breaking pass.

Shortly after, the Denver Broncos tweeted a video of Peyton Manning congratulating Brees as the new passing leader.

The 39-year-old signal caller was honored during a brief stoppage in play after breaking the record, receiving an ovation from players and fans at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans as he huddled with his family and Saints owner Gayle Benson. The record is now held by fellow great, Peyton Manning.

Jesus unhappy with Guardiola’s penalty call
I also have my concerns about Sarri's side defensively, namely with David Luiz playing in a four-man defence. Mahrez let slip a good chance on the hour when he shot wide when well placed in the penalty box.

Retired Supreme Court Justice Changes Mind on Kavanaugh
The 98-year-old, since retiring, called for the repeal of the Second Amendment in a New York Times op-ed earlier this year. Stevens is quoted as saying, "I feel his performance in the hearings ultimately changed my mind".

Understanding the magnitude of the moment, Brees reflected a bit in his Wednesday availability, looked back at specific moments but mostly tried to avoid ruminating on the record before he breaks it. Gruden also said running back Adrian Peterson has a shoulder strain and will have an MRI.

Drew Brees said back in 2006, Saints head coach Sean Payton took a chance on him, and he is grateful.

The one-time Super Bowl champion added the record to his long list of achievements, including the most completions and 300-yard games. No other quarterback has more than one such campaign. Brees surpassed Hall-of-Famer Johnny Unitas' streak of 47 straight - which had stood since 1960. In the press box, the Superdome catering staff served "beefy mac", a meal of macaroni with ground beef that has always been one of Brees' traditional meals on the night before games.
