Lynn Hackett put flowers and a cross outside Gail Cleavenger's DeBary home on Monday, days after her longtime neighbor was killed and authorities arrested Cleavenger's 15-year-old son.
WFTV reported that Ramos allegedly strangled his mother and they got into a fight over a "D" grade he received in school.
Ramos confessed to using a wheelbarrow to move Gail's body into the family van and then drove to River City Church 1.5 miles away where he buried her in a fire pit. So he went back to strangle her again. Deputies say they helped him cover up the crime, after Ramos strangled his mother to death.
The two accused of being Ramos' accomplices - Dylan Ceglarek, 17, and Brian Porras, 17 - also students at the same high school in Orange City, were released and placed in home detention but ordered to wear ankle monitors.
