America's national farewell to George H.W. Bush begins Monday (Dec 3) with the transfer of his casket aboard the presidential plane from Texas to Washington, where he will lie in state in the rotunda of the US Capitol.

Writing for the Washington Post on Saturday, Clinton declared of Bush: "I just loved him".
