Back in February, there was an incident at a Cleveland hotel that involved Kareem Hunt and a young woman he had brought back to his hotel room.
The Chiefs have not commented on the video.
Officers were called to the hotel after the incident.
Hunt was at practice on Friday but was sent home from the facility and excused from team activities after the release of video, sources told ESPN's Dan Graziano. The police were called, but no arrests were made because they couldn't determine if a crime was committed.
ESPN Analyst Crushes North Carolina’s New Coaching Hire
Brown is a big name, obviously, and he's won a national championship, but not everyone is thrilled with North Carolina's decision. At the end of the 2013 season, he announced his (forced) resignation from Texas and has not coached since.
Major League Baseball donated to Hyde-Smith's campaign as favor to McConnell
Ms Hyde-Smith's campaign meanwhile has critiqued Mr Espy's lobbying work and affiliations with an Ivory Coast dictator. The sign above refers to the case of Willie Jones Jr, a black man who was found hanging from a tree earlier this year.
NASA spacecraft lands on Mars after six-month journey
Messages sent by the lander confirmed that all of the craft's systems were functioning "nominally" shortly after its landing. Meanwhile, mission scientists will photograph what can be seen from the lander's perspective and monitor the environment.
In body-cam footage obtained by TMZ, the woman in question and other witnesses give conflicting accounts as to what spurred the incident. The Chiefs play at Oakland on Sunday, a game that Hunt will not be able to attend while on the exempt list.
The woman, reportedly a student at Kent State, told authorities at the time that the argument began when she refused to hook up with one of Hunt's friends, the New York Post reported. While the next steps are unclear, Graziano reports that it's likely that Hunt will be placed on the commissioner's exempt list.
The video shows Hunt arguing with the woman, shoving her, and kicking her after he pushed his friend into her.
The Kansas City Chiefs are, at least for the moment, distancing themselves from Kareem Hunt. Cleveland.com reported then that one police report listed Hunt as a suspect, and another report listed the female Hunt shoved, Abigail Ottinger, as a suspect. When asked to elaborate on the lessons he learned, he replied: "Just be in the right place at the right time".
Hunt led the National Football League in rushing as a rookie in 2017.
