Epic Games has announced Fortnite Creative, a new mode with more custom features, giving players the ability to design their own games and battle friends in new ways. Unlockable styles for outfits from the Season 6 Battle Pass can still be unlocked in Season 7 as long as the base skins were unlocked prior to the new season.
In Creative, players are each given their own island where everything they make is saved. But on December 13th, everyone can explore and build on their own islands for free. Epic officially unveiled the new mode in a post on its official website this morning, though the announcement followed an apparent leak of a YouTuber's extensive preview which has since been pulled down, according to Fortnite Intel.
But now it seems one of the YouTubers who got to visit Epic Games HQ for an exclusive look at the game, may have published his in-depth look a day or two too early. As of next Thursday, Dec. 13, everyone will be able to play the Creative mode.
The new mode was revealed in a recent YouTube stream, which showcased its different terrain options and buildings - as well as how to access new maps.
Right now, Fortnite is the most popular game in the world, so it makes ideal sense to keep pushing it.
