Considering that Sony intends to phase out PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita games from this program come February 2019, it's not all too surprising the two platforms are getting such offerings at this point in time.

Portal Knights, the enjoyable action RPG from Keen Games, is January's other PlayStation 4 title.

It's nearly January 2019, which means the start of a new year of free games is coming to PS+ subscribers.

For anyone who has yet to grab the December PlayStation Plus games, you can get Soma and Onrush until the end of the month! Originally, Steep is priced at $29.99 so you'll be saving some cash if you download it next month.

EPL: Chelsea close to Nabir Fekir signing
Pulisic is out of contract at Borussia Dortmund at the end of next season and is another player who would be available in January. Pini Zahavi is now said to have approached Fekir's representatives for them to know Chelsea want to sign their client next year.

Shutdown Cuts Christmas Vacation Short for Federal Employees
The House and Senate briefly gaveled into session on Christmas Eve before quickly closing again with no further action. Capitol is shown during a partial shutdown of the federal government on December 24, 2018 in Washington, DC.

IGN also reviewed Zone of the Enders HD Collection, and you can check out IGN's Amplitude review as well for our thoughts on both PS3 free titles for January.

Sony has been criticized for using free emulator open-source PCSX ReARMed, a mixed library of just twenty games, the presence of projects from different regions (NTSC and PAL), hacking the console in a matter of days, as well as performance issues. The game supports multiplayer, so you can join forces with your friends and defeat enemies together. The PS Vita players will get Super Mutant Alien Assault and Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion - the latter is also available on PS4. The Classic was meant to bring back that nostalgic feeling you may have with the original PlayStation. The pack contains 100 Platinum, 100,000 Credits, Quanta, Quanta Obsidian Skin, 7-Day Affinity Booster, and 7-Day Credit Booster.

This certainly isn't the finest lineup we've ever had, but if you were interested in trying out Steep or Portal Knights (or you're a ZOE fan) you can certainly find something to love here.
