Six NFL executives told FanSided they expect Murray - the Oklahoma quarterback, Oakland A's outfielder and Heisman Trophy victor - to have an agreement in place with any NFL team that might draft him before the actual draft begins on April 25.

The paper reports that the Oakland Athletics drafted Murray 9th overall in the Major League Baseball Draft last summer.

Murray's agent Scott Boras was quoted in the Chronicle's story, saying "When you win the Heisman Trophy, you're going to have a lot of information come to you to be looked at", Boras said at the winter meetings in Las Vegas. Murray, who already has a contract with the MLB's Oakland Athletics, has been a topic of debate as a two-sport star.

ESPN draft experts Mel Kiper and Todd McShay have noted that Murray could be a first-round pick, and ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported Wednesday that Murray was getting "first-round feedback" about the NFL.

Winter Storm Will Bring Snow For Much of Iowa This Weekend
A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for Alleghany, Caswell, Stokes, Surry, Rockingham, Wilkes and Yadkin counties. It would be the most snow the city has had in a single storm since 2014 when a January blizzard dumped 10.8 inches.

Raptors, Patrick McCaw Agree to Deal
McCaw averaged 4 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 57 games last season, his second in the National Basketball Association . However, he only ended up playing three games with the Cavaliers, who waived him before that deal would become fully guaranteed.

Elneny’s Arsenal host Man United in FA Cup
Guardiola said: "The result was good and of course we are already in the final but we have to play the second leg". Without that competition, if we had just one competition to play in, I could play with the same 11 or same 12.

Murray has yet to officially announce, but Las Vegas odds favor him to be selected in the first round. While declaring doesn't guarantee Murray will play baseball instead of football, but it certainly increases that chance.

While Murray doesn't strike most as a player the Jags would be interested in with Tom Coughlin running things, it would be foolish to overlook him as a prospect.

A source also told The Chronicle that "should Murray stick with his original intent to play baseball, he has been invited to A's big-league camp this spring". He could still opt to be in the A's camp, but the National Football League scouting combine begins February 26 and any high-round hopeful would be expected to attend. Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson was the last pick of the first round (No. 32 overall) in 2018. However, a porous offensive line did not help Rosen's cause, as he was one of five quarterbacks to be sacked on more than 10 percent of dropbacks.
